There has been an equestrian centre on the site where Cobham Manor Livery is based since 1954, its a long standing part of the history of Thurnham and many local residents over the years learnt to ride there.

Winning the first ever Equestrian Business Awards 'Event Venue of the Year' award in 2021, Cobham Manor Events is a well established event venue in Kent.
Affiliated to the following equestrian governing bodies:

Events are held throughout the year, hosting qualifiers for many organisations,

Events are held throughout the year, hosting qualifiers for many organisations, the most popular being Sunshine Tour.
All the events are run outside in predominantly our 60m x 30m floodlit equi sand/equi rubber post and rail enclosed riding arena with warm up predominantly being in our 40m x 20m arena.
Visiting professionals hire our facilities to host their own training clinics and other events such as Fun Agility.

Cobham Manor Livery is now a DIY yard with 31 stables spread across 5 blocks. Freelance grooms are welcomed should you require assistance.
Liveries get the use of all the facilities including discounted food/drink on some items in the coffee shop.
