Coffee Shop

 We have a small coffee shop on site which is open on every show day (check the event calendar for when shows are running).  

Currently we are not open during the week but by prior arrangement this may be possible.

The coffee shop is situated adjacent to the large international riding arena where almost all our events and outside demos take place.

In the 'good old days' the building used to resemble a nissan hut but thankfully its now more presentable both inside and out.   

We serve traditional 'show food' that ensures your breakfast and lunch is covered plus we serve a range of sweet things too.    And of course we have the usuals of tea/coffee, hot chocolate and a variety of canned/bottled drinks.

We have a couple of vegetarian options and fry in rape seed oil. Please note meat products are cooked on our griddle so our egg baps are not suitable for vegetarians. 

For club events we offer a fixed price meal deal which we ask is pre-ordered preferably the day before or at the very latest on arrival so we can have it ready for you at the time you break for lunch.

Our coffee shop is rural friendly so yes you can bring your dog in but we ask that it is kept on a lead.

Lullah, Gremlin or Mickey our resident cats may be napping in their basketa, on a chair (or on my laptop) so look first before you sit.

Dogs chasing our cats will be evicted and banned.

We have seating inside for 29 people, including a new L shaped breakfast bar which looks out over our arena.

The outside patio area has 3 picnic benches and 3 further table & chairs sets providing further seating.

If you don't want to sit, no problem - whilst we have not tested the theory I am sure you can fit quite a few more people in standing up.  

We may be able to host your equestrian themed talks/discussions/training in our coffee shop.

Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm @ £25 per hour, 6pm to 9pm @ £35 per hour (£40 per hour in the winter months when we have lighting and heating running).  We are not able to accommodate any hire requests beyond 9pm.

The option of purchasing tea/coffee/drinks can be made available on a 'per cup' basis from an 'honesty corner' . Bring your own biscuits/pastries or we can provide those too.

We can staff the coffee shop to provide a full catering service whether that be lunch or dinner upon request or maybe even an Afternoon Tea - however, please appreciate whilst we are prepping and cooking some noise should be expected, we will try our best to keep it to a minimum.  You can order off the menu or we can provide you in advance with a set meal deal per head.  Please note only Coffee Shop staff are permitted to operate the catering equipment.

We cannot sell alcohol unless under specific license which has to be requested at least 8 weeks before an event date.
